I've been tagged by Secretsof and Sensualistic (and it didn't hurt at all). You can find them under my links, over on the right.I normally don't get into this type of thing but since I like the two ladies that double-teamed me, I'll play along. I wanted something to write about anyway. Six things about my that are embarrassing or unknown to my readers (or most of my readers). Hmmm. 1- I enjoy campy horror flicks. Not the slasher type movies but those with a supernatural bent. Even the goofiest movies of this genre can have a scary scene or two. I'm not too scared when I watch those scenes but later, when the house is quiet....Lets just say, after watching what I thought was a goofy vampire movie, I fetched my First Communion crucifix from my jewelry box and slept with it at my bedside. I saw the cross there in the morning and felt like a goofy bitch. 2- I mentioned once that when younger, I had what many might now call Attention Deficit Disorder. It was relatively mild and I seemed to outgrow it for the most part. I also had a slight stutter. I no longer stutter but I sometimes feel like I might. I go very quiet and am sometimes accused of being moody or distant. Imagine, a little kid with ADD and a stutter. I think at my worst, my parents would have had an easier time with Regan McNeil. 3- I think Beethoven's 7th is the most beautiful piece of music ever written and Toscanini's 1951 recording the best performance of the piece. On the other hand, I like Van Halen's first album almost as much as Beethoven's 7th. 4- I think Hemingway sucks. F. Scott is the man. 5- I sometimes don't hear song lyrics correctly. I then sing along using my own lyrics and get strange looks on occasion. 6 - For the first three or four years, I never missed an episode of Beverly Hills 90210. Now that's embarrassing! It's the one thing I may never live down. I'm not tagging anyone. I'm just not a high pressure type of gal. Feel free to run with it though. I'd love to read what some of my favorites may have to say.
