Taking Off

I'm off to The Cape for a week of fun, sun and debauchery. There will be a pretty good crowd off and on during the week and I'm looking forward to it. I'll be back in eleven or twelve day with a full report. Kit and Luke will be there, along with some other fun folk. I just hope we don't get too many thunder storms.

I finally had drinks with Tamara. She called me twice. The first time, I'm ashamed to say, I blew her off. Then she called again and I went. Someone, in a comment, asked if Tamara's attractive. Not in the traditional sense, I guess. She's thin, has shoulder-length hair. She's a brunette. I think a guy might find her kind of a plain jane. But, she's the type of person whose personality is attractive and once you know her you do think of her as attractive (does that make sense?).

We had fun. She's fun and talks a lot. She just broke up with her longtime boyfriend. He was cheating on her. Not just here and there but another full-time relationship. Where do they get the energy to sneak around?

I'm still not sure if she was coming on to me. She likes to touch me, grab my arm to emphasize a point. Things like that. I could be way off base. Anyway, I don't really want to go there anyway. I like her and wouldn't want to just fool around. I also do not want another relationship. It is fun to rekindle old friendships.

Everyone probably knows about it as I'm typically the last to know about these things. These gals seem like a lot of fun and they seem to be having a terrific time.
