Finally, Weekend Plans

A Chris update: The drama continues. We have spoken a total of three times, all communications via telephone. All conversations being less than five minutes. One call was abruptly terminated by me because I actually had to leave for an appointment and I was late. One was cut short by Chris because he was at work and got a call. The other was cut short because he was 'tired' and really had to get some sleep. So....ouch on the last one. That's the male version of "I have to wash my hair." At least we don't have representatives negotiating on our behalves.

All three calls were initiated by me. Yes, the needle on my pride meter took a bit of a nose dive. The only saving grace was that the calls were appropriately spaced, one every week, so it wasn't too pathetic.

Now, I'm leaving the ball in his court. I'll let the chips fall where they may because tomorrow is another day. Did I mention that March is cliche month?

Seriously, if he needs to do the guy thing, I can respect that. The door is open and I will wait for him to make any further moves. I made three efforts which, as everyone knows, is the appropriate number according to the official rulebook. I am here to work this out but will not wait for him to call.

If I sound lighthearted and flippant about all this, I'm not. That's one of the stages I go through when coping.

Steve's been travelling for work the past few weeks, which sucks. Not long trips, but a few days here and a few day there. He's exhausted and also suffered from a nasty head cold which kept him sidelined for a few days. March hasn't been a good month. His schedule will lighten in April and he's promised to take me away for a long weekend. I'm psyched! Did I just say psyched?

Due to all this, I haven't had sex for quite some time. After the argument with Chris, my sex drive initially dropped faster than Paris Hilton's panties. Now, though, I'm really, really horny. As I mentioned to a friend, really horny, as in pull my hair - slap my ass - do whatever you want- horny.

On to some fun. Lea flew into town the other day for her cousin's wedding and, because her family's house is full-up for a few days with other guests, she's staying with me. She has also invited me to the wedding as her guest. Looks like I'll be able to wear that dress to a wedding after all. No matter that my date will be wearing a dress instead of a suit.

Last night I went to the wedding rehearsal and the rehearsal dinner. It was a lot of fun and I relaxed for the first time in quite a while.

When we got back to my place last night, it was late and we were both tired. We slipped out of our skirts and threw on some PJ's and sacked out on my bed. We talked like teenage girls for a few minutes, mostly about our man problems (Lea's having her own).

Then, Lea gave me a kick-ass massage. I mean, wow, it felt blissful.

Now, the thing with Lea is complicated. She's probably the only female I've ever considered having a relationship with. I won't, because that would be too complicated. We have participated in some threesomes and we did sleep together once (which I wrote about). That was quite some time ago. There's always been some underlying 'thing' there. Always unspoken.

The long and short of it is, I got the distinct vibe that Lea was looking for more than just girl talk last night. I hate to disappoint, but the truth is, the massage made me so relaxed that I drifted off to sleep after being pleasured with that wonderful treat.

I guess that makes me the man in the relationship.

Just kidding guys.

Today, before the wedding, we went into town to do some serious shopping, the kind that could be dangerous for amateurs. I just returned home, heavily laden down with packages.
